National Rail Museum
National Rail Museum arranged in New Delhi which centers around the rail legacy of India it opened on the 1 February 1977. In spite of the fact that at first idea of in 1962, the thought for the opening of Transport Museum took a solid shape in 1970 under the information with respect to Mr.Michael Graham Satow a rail lover. Shri V.V Giri, the then President of India, established the framework stone for the Rail Transport Museum (R.T.M) at its present site in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, on October 7, 1971.
The Rail Transport Museum was arranged as a piece of a bigger complex covering the historical backdrop of Railways, Roadways, Airways, and Water-routes in India, which later on formed into an undeniable National Rail Museum in the year 1995.

National Rail Museum Tickets : weekdays – entry fee for adult is Rs 50 per and for child Rs10 And weekend – entry fee for adult Rs 100 and for child Rs.20.
National Rail Museum Timing : Museum stays shut on each Monday and National Holiday, Timings 10:00 am To 5:00 pm (After 04:30 the entry door is closed).
